Our Annual KidFit Festival and Fun Run is open to Harlingen and the entire Rio Grande Valley community. This event has no entry fee and draws many families to participate in educational opportunities, fun entertainment and an optional 1 mile fun run. Participants are provided opportunities to learn about services in the community, nutrition, and ways to achieve a healthier lifestyle. This program was developed with the overall goal of helping our community, especially our youth and their caregivers, understand and implement lifestyle changes that will lead to healthy minds, bodies and lives. Past events have attracted over 500 children and their families and we hope to continue impacting even more this year!
